I saw these two on my window. First thoughts? I marvelled at clever mother nature. Reproductive isolating mechanisms to prevent gene pool contamination. Copulation may occur but the sperm never gets passed on. Genius.
And if you're sitting there thinking - wtf. Blame it on the biology revision.
