I got yelled at by some stupid old lady from the tutor agency on the phone today. All because I had the audacity to ask for a change in Maths tutors.

It began almost like an interrogation.

Evil lady : Why don't you like him?
Me : Err... because I don't like his teaching methods?
Evil lady : Oh really? What's wrong? Care to elaborate?!
Me : Mmm.. Well he doesn't really have any past paper resources and I mean it wasn't as slow as I'd perhaps hoped because I'm a very very slow learner.
Evil lady : Well being a sixth form student and having any sense of responsibility - it is YOUR duty to check the OCR website for their specification as well as downloading the past papers.
Me : *thinks of a comeback to that* ...er .. yes.. I know.. I do do that.. Well I'm sorry? :S

...and the conversation continued...

Surely, if I'm wasting £25 an hour I'm entitled to asking for a new tutor. It's my money after all!

I think she completely lost the plot the minute she said Hello...

Hello my lovelies,

I have officially stopped PMS-ing. Yes. so no depressingly deep posts for a while. Eloping with the fairies.

I know how much I really should take those evening primrose pills, but they're so huge.. and green..and my pharynx is so small.. and incapable of swallowing it.

But Half-term next week! My aim is to actually strap down and do some C3 revision, some magical chemistry revision and also look through my biology notes. Well, that's not pushing the boat out too much is it? ;) What I hope I won't end up doing is sitting on TSR day in and day out and refreshing UCAS track. Along with a heavy dose of optimism, I hope the coming week brings no unexpected horrid surprises.

As they say,
Medical school admissions - causing psychosis in applicants since 19-- .

EDIT : Barts rejected me today. 1 down, 3 to go.

Recently someone told me that I work too hard. So hard, that I forget to kindle friendships. In simple terms, I lack the effort.

And I take full responsibility when a relationship with a friend fails. But just like it takes two to tango. It takes two to make something shared fail right? Only makes sense.

After all when your friends with someone - as much as we all like to think we're friends for different reasons and that we're going to remain friends till death do us apart. It all goes down to - at the time and at that place when something is shared. Perhaps school or a hobby or a part of the routine that encorporates their presence.

Maybe I'm just a cold hearted witch who really has no soul. Maybe one day life will teach me different. But relationships are formed for memories to be shared and enjoyed. And when memories are made enjoy each and every second of them. Relish in the moment before life gets in the way. And when it does, Taking the good with the bad and then moving on but still keeping touch is better than trying to make something work which hurts both parties involved or just results in plain awkward situations.

But on an entirely different more joyful note,

Today's gym session was fruitful.
Maximuscle Cyclone protein bars (Don't Judge) taste like chocolatey poo and I'm never wasting money on them again
I swear Costa's spike their coffees - But I'm not complaining as long as it gives me an all-time high.
Finally bought a pair of Nike capris that I've been lusting since forever.
I can't wait for the 26th of this month to see my bank balance not read £0.00 anymore.

And I wish it snowed properly.

They say the truth will set you free.

Sometimes it's better to let the truth find you rather than running after it.

And sometimes I wish I listened to my own advice!

They asked me one question at my interview that stumped me.
I sat there in silence staring at the floor but aware of the 3 pairs of eyes burning into me. I swear if looks could do anything, I would've reached melting point.

It was a simple "What else do you felt has challenged you?"

And annoyingly, for the past 24 hours, all that's been running through my head is the possible answers that would've actually made sense!

On a personal level, the past year has challenged any morals I stood/stand for. It's challenged who I am. It's made me think of who I am going to end up being. Questioning - Have I or Am I actually being true to myself? - Sometimes I get so carried away by ambitions I forget to live. I'm so pre-occupied trying to make sure I give everything more than my best that it makes rejection seem even more daunting.

But the thing I'm most afraid of is turning cold.

So, it's been hard to keep my roots grounded in firm soil. But each day as it comes right? and counting the blessings everyday.

If only I'd actually opened my mouth and said something worth listening to! Bah. Oh well, all done now. Let the waiting begin.

On a much lighter note,
I'm hoping to take the camera out for a walk soon. Try out a few techniques. Keep it posted.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Let's have some fun this beat is sick,
I wanna take a ride on your disco stick....

And suddenly all I could hear was my heart working overtime pumping enough blood to provide sufficient oxygen to my muscles.

Man that gym session was hectic. Normally you'll find me on a cross-trainer slouching around trying to look active and all. But today, I went to my weekly-almost-ritualistic Legs Bums and Tums class. As the title suggests, it's the perfect class to tone up those wiggly bits. However, as I was making those lactate dehydrogenase enzymes work 20 times harder with 3 sets of squats within the span of 5 minutes (that lady instructor is a monster!) I almost wanted to screw the perfect body and dunk my head in a richly moist chocolate cake.
